It’s hard to decide between quilting and gardening this time of the year. The rains have finally lessened (I won’t say stopped because this is Oregon after all), and the sun is shining and it’s a perfect temperature for being outdoors. The mosquitos think so too, but that’s another matter. Last October my husband and I totally tore up one of our garden beds and put in new soil, rock, drip pipe and then put back in all the plants. Boy are they happy! The iris have some developing to do; some of them didn’t bloom, but the ones that did looked fabulous. OK, maybe now I can get back in the quilting studio…happy quilting!
