I took Amtrak up to Tacoma for the Innovations Conference and the ride was lovely! Who knew? A one way ticket was quite reasonable and the seats were large and comfy. I spent the day contemplating my upcoming classes, taking pictures, and reading a book. Even better, the train arrived on time! Yeah Amtrak! Here are a couple of the photos I took along the way…

Towerhouse Quilts 
It is a leisurely and comfortable ride… much better than air travel these days… and some beautiful scenery along the way… it just takes longer than by car, but forces you to slow down and enjoy the ride… which you did. Have fun and learn lots!
