This quilt is a star! No, really, it’s a star. OK, that’s quilting humor. Is anyone laughing yet? So it’s been a long day in the studio. I started at 6:30 am, but was able to take an “erg break” at 2 pm to get the kinks out. What’s an erg, you ask? It’s a rowing machine. I’m doing the “Holiday Erg Challenge,” but that’s another story…for another day. Back to quilting designs…this star just called out fo some swirly fun. So it got feathers in the border, feathers on the stars, and an oval bands pattern in the chocolate-brown areas. A star is born!
