We had a water leak on our property, so Neil had to dig a trench to find the leak. Willow decided that she too should help out! And yes, she is quite the digger!
And of course she wanted to help with the hose as well. Turns out she LIKES water and was intrigued with the spray from the hose. Hmmmm, might have a water dog on our hands. Our last two Mals didn’t care for the water, so this is going to be a new experience for us.
And oh my gosh…she is 27 pounds now and she looks like a dog! (Oh and for those of you with inquiring minds, yes, Neil found the leak and fixed it!)

She’d have to do an AWFUL lot of digging to pay for her food, toys, and vet appts….that’s for sure! But what a great idea. I’m not sure she knows how to dig in a straight line though. Hmmmmmm.

Inquiring minds want to know … It’s good to get her used to water early … bathtime … or a jump in the lake! =)
Sackett took his first jump in the lake @ 5mo. old in May and has loved water ever since unlike our other shepherds. (He still doesn’t like bathtime, though … must be a boy thing!)

Sounds like a plan…she’s had one “mini bath” and didn’t complain. One she is fully vaccinated, it will be fun to take her down to the lake!

Great husband, great dog, what more can you ask for!!! Just don’t ask for a great garden this summer…I think Willow may be interested in growing and blooming plants!!! Looking forward to continuing photos!
