Comfort Quilt

This quilt will have quite a history one day. Helen and her friends made it as a comfort quilt to be shared in their group when someone is ill. Although I hope they don’t have to use it too often, and too soon, it is a wonderful quilt that will no doubt spread comfort when needed. I was just thinking every quilt group could make one of these; especially as we all get older (and I was recently diagnosed with A.G.E. – yes, that’s right, age, as in I’m getting older…darn!). Women have a wonderful tendency to surround each other with love and support in times of crisis…and thank goodness for that!
