Wanda did this fabulous red and white feathered star quilt after taking a class from Marsha McCloskey. Two color quilts are so striking, I just love them! And Wanda did an amazing job piecing this quilt…so straight, so flat! Using thread color that matched as closely as possible, the feathers and feather-like (my new term!) border patters I think really make this look fun. The stitch ‘n the ditch sets off each border, and the “P” in the middle of the star is a nod to their family surname (no hints here, eh?). I believe this is a gift, so hopefully the recipient will treasure it!
Happy quilting!
Lisa, the quilt is done and over to Ricks and Kellys waiting for him to get time to put up the rod, I am so excited to see it hanging, I will take a picture and post it for you. They love it, and you did a super job on the quilting, I love it too. It will be hanging in the EVQ quilt show this year so you will have to come and see it hanging. Thanks again for doing a super job. Love ya
Wanda
