Blackberry Jam Festival – This Weekend!

Come on out and see our 8th Annual Quilt Show held during the Blackberry Jam Festival in Lowell. The quilt show runs Saturday from 10-4 pm and Sunday from 10-3pm. The Lowell Pine Needlers put on the show each year and this year we are expecting a lot of unique quilts for sale and display. Quilt entries are being accepted up until this Friday, July 27 at 6 pm.

New this year are ribbons that will be awarded in eight different categories. The ribbons were designed by our very own Carey R. and are quite spectacular. Carey’s crack team of sewists made each one by hand using different cotton and satin fabrics with a button featuring the Blackberry Jam Festival logo as the center. I seriously want to win one of these! So if you have a quilt you’d like to enter, it’s not too late! Bring ’em on ladies!

And if you haven’t yet purchased raffle tickets for the annual raffle quilt, you can do that as well. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6/$5.00 and can be purchased at the quilt show or at the Festival Information Booth. Of course you can also contact me and I’ll hook you up with some! But hurry, you’ll need to get that check in the mail quickly! The quilt is raffled off this Sunday, July 29!
