Doug’s Nuts Blues

As many of you know, when I’m not quilting, I’m helping to launch a new start-up company in Eugene called, Doug’s Nuts. Yep, you read that right! Doug and Kari are friends of mine. Doug recently retired (from being a professional food scientist!) and decided to do something for himself. So he created a fabulous nut mixture (seven different nuts and seeds) and coated it with blackberry honey, organic sugarcane, vanilla, maple, sea salt and oatmeal stout beer. And guess what? It’s REALLY tasty!

What you are watching is our first video on YouTube. Doug is also a musician, so he wrote and produced the video. Yes, we are wacky to say the least. But that’s the fun of it.

But we are quite serious about our nuts and once you try them, you’ll never go back to any other brand of nuts. Ours are the best! Try them and you’ll know what I’m talking about. On our website you can find a store locator where we sell the nuts here in town, and across the country. That’s right, we are working our way across the country. So if you don’t live in Eugene, (so sorry) we will be happy to ship you 6-packs of our nuts!
