This is one happy quilt! The baskets are so colorful. It’s old-fashioned and yet modern at the same time. The quilting was fun to do! Nancy wanted something like how the quilt was done in A Bouquet of Quilts by Jennifer Rounds and Cyndy Lyle Rymer. I’m not a cross-hatching guru (yet), so I suggested feathers on the border instead, and I think the end result is happy.
You can click on the book below to purchase it from Amazon.com. It’s an older book, so it’s not likely you would find it at your local store (which is always a good place to look first!).
How cute… love the ‘old’ scrappy look and LOVE the quilting!

And she is going to add 3-D flowers in each of the baskets….so it’s going to be very colorful when she is done!
