Several of you requested more information about the Houndstooth quilt mentioned in my last post that my customer Kathy made. I asked her for more information, and she got back to me and said the pattern is made by V and Co. She also said it went together pretty easy “but the baby quilt had a wrong size…all blocks should have been 3 1/4, not 3 3/8. Also sewing blocks together is easy, but you have to keep your wits about you!” Kathy said she purchased the pattern at Piece by Piece in Eugene. The pattern was originally made in 2010, but you might be able to get it either from Piece by Piece, or from the V and Co. website.
I went to the V and Co.website to check out her other designs. She has a book out, but it was sold out on her website. However I found it at amazon.com…click on the picture below to order one.
And this just in from Kathy about the backing fabric…It is the yellow and gray Suzann fabric in the Willow line by Riley Blake. The gray fabric on the front was from Robert Kaufman line of linen-looking solids. Both fabrics were purchased at Piece by Piece.
Happy quilting!
