This is the first quilt I’ve seen done by one of my customers with my Tranquil Forest pattern! Lorraine B. from San Diego did a super job on it and it was her very first quilt! It is so exciting to see my pattern turned into an actual, real, honest-to-goodness, living, breathing quilt! I hope I get to see many more over the coming years. Yep, that’s definitely an unveiled hint quilters! Here’s your mantra for today: “Buy the pattern, make the quilt…..buy the pattern, make the quilt”….
This is a great pattern to make if you are a beginner, but it’s also a good one for experienced sewists to whip out for that quick baby quilt. It can be done scrappy, or planned; either way it is fast and fun. The main thing is to prepare yourself a coffee (or tea or wine!) and just do it. Dive into that stash. Or go shopping. What are you waiting for?
