My City View quilt pattern is in the current issue of Generation Q Magazine!
In the magazine you will see a one page spread of the quilt with a model (That’s not me! I’m not the model…..). And then to find the pattern, you actually go to the Generation Q website and you will find it in the “Magazine Extras”section. I believe this is a way for the Gen Q folks to feature more projects in an efficient manner. More bang for your buck!
I found the inspiration for this quilt a few years ago when Sheila Sinclair Snyder and I were attending a longarm machine convention in Tacoma. We took a tram ride to the convention center, and along the way we passed through a downtown section. I looked up and saw a building with a particular pattern of windows….and the idea for this quilt was born! It just shows you that quilt designs can come from anywhere!
Happy quilting!
