It doesn’t get any more Irish than this! Keith D. made this lovely Irish Chain quilt for his father…how great is that? The white spaces called to me, and since I knew it was for a guy, I tried to make it “manly” or….at least not girly swirly! I think the result works. You probably can’t see it in the photos, but there are pebbles in the small squares. I thought of an Irish cobblestone lane for my inspiration! I used two colors of thread so the quilting wouldn’t “scream” …white and a thread color called Jade….so it just seemed to come together in a lucky sort of way!
