Quilt Donated to Lowell Grange
I made this quilt entitled “Why Fight It?” years ago but it’s still one of my favorites. The block is called “54 40 or Fight.” It’s made with assorted plaid fabrics and quilted (not by me because this was years before I got my first longarm machine!). A fabulous quilt for the mountain cabin or on top of a bed. So it was time to put this quilt to good use by donating it to the Lowell Grange Hall in order for them to raffle it off and raise money for building improvements. It’s the Lowell Grange’s 100th Anniversary and Grange members have been working hard to raise funds to keep the building around another 100 years!
How do you purchase tickets? Contact Gerry Burr and she will make sure you get as many as you need. The tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The quilt will be raffled off at the Grange Breakfast on October 5, 2014. So hurry and get your tickets now, because if you wait you might forget!
You might win a great quilt AND you are supporting a wonderful Grange Hall in the town of Lowell…..that’s a win-win!
