Furoshiki, a Japanese method of folding cloth into useful things
Using a 105 centimeter (just over 41 inches) cloth, look what you can do! I am fascinated by this method of folding. How green! How clever! I first saw this at my last quilt retreat as one of the gals showed us how to do a bag and the wine bottle carrier.
The Japanese way is to use a beautiful silk piece, but I don’t see why this couldn’t work with some 100% cotton quilting fabric too. Grab some fabric and give it a try!
Very interesting!

I know, right? This should work great with quilting fabric I think! You just need 1 1/4 yards of 44/45″ wide fabric.
