Merry Christmas! (only a day late!)
We got our tree at Garden World last week, but then unforeseen circumstances led to the tree not getting decorated. It was just one of those years where tree decorating wasn’t on the menu. But the tree is beautiful in it’s own right, and soon the tree will go back outside and be planted on our property to be enjoyed for years to come.
And how about that new tree skirt? I’d always wanted to make one, so I found this Swirly Girls pattern that I really liked. 
The pattern uses the Creative Grid 30 degree Ruler which is really slick. 
It goes together really fast. I made my version scrappy and used up a lot of red and green fabric. I only had only one actual holiday fabric that I used and the rest where just holiday-inspired.
