New Zealand!

We did it!

The 33.5 mile trek called the Milford Track in New Zealand. It was an amazing hike with Neil’s two sisters and brother-in-law. Everyone had a good time and there was sunshine for three days, and thunder, lightening and rain on the final day. But it was “no worries mate!” as we worked our way towards Sandfly Point. By the end of the day there was sunshine once again for our boat ride across part of the Milford Sound.

So stay tuned for more pictures in the upcoming weeks as I recover from over 45 hours of airplane travel. When such a long distance trip is slammed into under 13 days, it’s not exactly relaxing, but it sure is fun!

And you wonder why I haven’t done any quilting lately? Ha! Wonder no more!

    1. Worry no more! I was lucky enough to get this approved before the job started….my boss at the County definitely got a check-mark in the goodwill column right from the start! But thanks for being worried about me. 🙂 (Oh – and I wore your silver earrings the entire time I was there!)
