Taking a Break

It’s been about 12 years since I started longarming. Six of those years was a full-time effort for Towerhouse Quilts, and the next six years was working on quilts on weekends, after my full-time job duties for the week were over. It has been a glorious journey!

Here are a few of the quilts I’ve worked on recently for my customers…

But now it’s time for a break….

Time to fill up the creative well, work on some of my own projects, explore new ideas, continue on my knitting path….maybe even read a book or two! Nope, I’m not retiring. Just taking a longarm break. I don’t know how long the break will be, but I know at some point I will be back doing customer quilts because I do LOVE longarm quilting! And I love seeing all the beautiful quilts that pass through my studio on their way to you.

A big THANK YOU to all my customers over the years for allowing me to be part of your quilting journey.

Happy new year! Be well….and keep quilting!

  2. Lisa, Hope you had a good Christmas! Colin, Coryander, dog Dixie, and baby Lucky left early this morning and it is suddenly calm and quiet. I will miss your beautiful quilting but happy to see three of my quilts in your note. Is there anyone you would recommend for my recently completed quilt top? Happy New Year! Kathy
