More Free Quilt Patterns

Well it appears I’m on a quest for quilt patterns. Would that technically be a “quilt quest?” That is an awful lot of Q’s. But enough of the humor.  I found another site that has some good free quilt patterns. Check out Michael Miller Fabrics to download free patterns. There is a variety of styles and skill levels, so chances of finding something you like are good. Happy quilting!

Free Patterns

There are lots of free quilt patterns on the web, but I really like the ones at Art Gallery Fabrics. There are many to choose from and they range from easy to advanced. Some of the ones with bigger pieces would be great for busting your stash….which is what I hope to do! Why? So I can buy more fabric of course. Happy quilting!

Collaboration Inspiration

I have the first book Gwen Marston and Freddy Moran did on the subject of Collaboration and now they’ve come out with another, Collaborate Again:Freewheeling Twists on Traditional Quilt Designs.  I love the first book and am looking forward to getting their second one as well. I done several collaborations – one with my friend Leslie, one with my Kaffe Group through Piece by Piece Quilt Shop, and several with my quilt group, the Pine Needlers. All have turned out spectacular and were really fun to do. You just don’t know what you will end up with…which for me is the point. Stretch yourself! Enjoy the process!
