Here is a great opportunity to find some really unique, handmade items!
Listed below are the 2014 Silent Auction Items for the Blackberry Jam Quilt Show. This year, for the first time, we are offering an advance opportunity to purchase these handmade items, in case you aren’t able to attend the show (…..it happens, you get busy….). The profits from the sale of these auction items goes back into our small community. In 2013 we donated to the following:
Lowell Food Pantry
Lundy Elementary Clothes Closet
Blackberry Jam Festival
Lowell High School Music Program
Lowell High School Scholarship Program
Lowell High School Nexus Greenhouse Program
If you can’t make it to the show, and you’d like to make an advance purchase as a “Buy It Now” item, please contact Joyce. We are happy to ship the item if you live out of town (at a nominal additional cost).
All items remaining when the show starts on July 26, 2014 will be available in the Lowell Grange Hall for bidding. The silent auction will be held for only ONE DAY on Saturday, July 26, 2014 so make sure to come by early (we open the show at 10 am) and put in your bid.
For the full list of items with details of sizes and pricing, check out our Blackberry Jam Quilt Show Silent Auction page. Some photos are shown below, just to peak your interest! And if you do purchase something….thank you for your support!
My very own show! Our Sewing Room in Springfield has a selection of my quilts on show. Some are old, some are new, one is borrowed (because it’s a collaboration) and one is blue (no really!). The quilts will tell you a little bit about me: yep, I get bored easily! They are all different styles and patterns and range from old-fashioned to modern. I guess I just like to try different things.
The only quilts that are repeats are my Garden Gradation quilt which I made in three different colorways; two florals and one modern polka-dots…..just because I wanted to see how it would look.
So if you are in the Springfield area, stop by Our Sewing Room and check out the show! I will be there for Springfield’s 2nd Friday Artwalk on June 13, 2014 from 5-7 pm. I will hope to see you there!
