Finally. My first backpacking adventure of the season. Yes, a bit late, but because of all the smoke, we wanted to wait until the air cleared. And it was worth the wait! Just a one-nighter, but a fantastic trial run.
Hopefully there will be more to come….but with snow coming, it may have to wait until next year.
Planning is under way for our 2021 quilt show in July. This is our 17th Annual and we haven’t missed a year yet. While a lot of shows closed up show last year or went virtual, we had an outdoor drive-through show and it was a total success. A big thank you so my loyal team that were able to show up and help, even during the pandemic. Nothing will stop the Pine Needlers!
So we’d love to see you out at the show this year! We are going to be a nice large gym, with plenty of airflow and all COVID protocols in place. Come out and see our beautiful raffle quilt and all the varied quilts we will have on display. We typically have over 100 quilts, so there is something for everyone to enjoy.
To support our FREE event, you can purchase raffle tickets on our Eventbrite site. For more information on the show, or to enter your quilt, check out our show website. It’s FREE to attend the show.
New Zone Gallery in Eugene is reopening in it’s new location! My friend Kathy has one of her quilts hanging on display there. Kathy is both an amazing jewelry artist (Moonsilver Studio) and a quilt artist.
Check out the New Zone Gallery information online as it’s a wonderful story of how they came to be, and who they are.
Check out this holiday gift guide featuring local Oregon businesses. Another great opportunity to support local. This is gathered and promoted by Oregon RAIN.
You might just find that unique thing you were looking for this holiday season!
