2015 Blackberry Jam Quilt Show Opens Today!

Today is the day! The day we’ve all been waiting for. The 11th annual quilt show opens today. It’s a two day show, so you can swing by today from 10 am – 4 pm or tomorrow from 10 am – 3 pm.

The quilts and items above in the slideshow are just some of the beautiful works of art we are displaying in this year’s “Annual Challenge.” Every year we select one fabric and each of the Pine Needlers makes something of their own choosing. And this year we’ve turned out a bounty of unique and amazing things.

2015 raffle quiltAnd there is still a chance to purchase raffle tickets to this years stunning Pine Needler raffle quilt. The quilt will be raffled off tomorrow at about 5 pm, so make sure to buy some tickets so you have a chance to win it. If you don’t buy tickets, you won’t have ANY chance at all. Where’s the fun in that? And remember, all the proceeds go toward the town of Lowell: food pantry, library, firehall, etc. All good causes. The Pine Needlers work hard all year long to make this raffle quilt and show happen and we’d love to have you drop by.

Where? Lowell Grange Hall on 2nd Street in Lowell.

See you there!

The Lowell Pine Needlers
The Lowell Pine Needlers

The 11th annual quilt show is just days away now. So exciting! A lot of people have put in a lot of time over the past year to make this happen. The Lowell Pine Needlers are a hearty group of ladies who make this show happen. And there are supporting friends and husbands and townsfolk that contribute as well. A big thank you to all of you!

The show is held in the Lowell Grange Hall on Saturday and Sunday, July 25-26, 2015. And guess what? There is air-conditioning in the Grange! That’s pretty tempting, right? And while you are browsing the quilts, and voting in our “People’s Choice” awards, you can also purchase a few raffle tickets and get in on the chance to win this year’s stunning raffle quilt.2015 Pine Needlers Raffle Quilt

All the money the Pine Needlers raise goes back into the town of Lowell in one way or another. Last year we supported the good works of the Lowell Library, the Firehall, and the Food Bank just to name a few. So your dollars go for good causes. And thank you for your support.

The quilt show is FREE as well, and each year the ladies work hard to give the community a spectacular display of quilts. Each year is different. Each year is stunning. So I hope you can come by the Grange Hall and check it out.

But if you cannot attend, you can support our efforts by purchasing raffle tickets or making a donation through Eventbrite. It’s a wonderful online platform that is set up for just this sort of thing. But hurry, online ticket sales will end one hour before the show starts on Saturday, July 25th.
