Another fantastic hike. Except this time it was my first backpacking trip in 40 years! Just one night, but enough to get my feet wet (which I didn’t actually because the weather was amazing!). The coffee was great, the scenery lovely, and the trail was virtually empty except our little hiking party. So fun to try this again after so many years have gone by. Having the right gear is completely amazing.
